Get ready for a return to the wild jungle of Jumanji! Hiram Garcia, producer of both films with Dwayne Johnson, revealed that a 4th part of the saga was in development. In 2017, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle was released. The sequel to the 1995 cult film was a global hit, collecting no less than $962 million in worldwide revenue! The sequel, Next Level, was immediately under construction. And released in December 2019, the film was also a commercial success generating $ 800 million at the box office. Thus, with such dizzying figures, it was logical that a 4th film would very quickly appear. Now it's done! Hiram Garcia , the producer of the franchise, confirmed to ComicBook.com the start of development. Asked about Jumanji 4, the businessman replied that it would be done, "100%" ! He adds:
"We talk about it, we often have discussions with the whole group that worked on the films, it's a real family. We started talking around the 4th part. I can't tell you anything yet, but it's one of our biggest projects, one of our favorites too. We plan big things. It's all on fire."
While waiting to take off for Africa for this new part which will undoubtedly be as crazy as the previous ones, we invite you to (re)discover the cult scenes of the film Jumanji: Welcome to the jungle: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SulLBF1ciqc
