After the success of his second album Infinity and his full concert at YOYO, Oscar and the Wolf had quickly announced a new date at the Trianon. Also sold out, this concert confirms once again the quality of his live performances.
The concert is far from beginning, however, a majority of Belgians have specially made the trip and are already invading the front rows of the Trianon. Oscar and the Wolf's immense fame in his home country even pursues him abroad. Indeed, the concert had been sold out for several weeks.
After a first part performed by the Parisian Saint DX, former half of the duo Apes & Horses, we are ready to welcome the Belgian star. His musicians Ozan Bozdag on keyboard, Claudio Arduini on drums and Jasper Bullynck invest the back of the stage, to later leave the singer room to dance in all directions. After a crescendo introduction of a few minutes, Max Colombie enters the scene. Full sequined suit, black down jacket at the shoulders, huge boots, narrow sunglasses and bling-bling necklace: the singer once again puts on one of those extravagant looks that suit him so well.
A show at full speed
The first notes of the electric The Game sound and the show starts at full speed. The front rows shout the lyrics of the single and Max dares to dance in his own way, without any shame. In the end, he slowly takes off his glasses and continues with So Real and Chevrolet, as during his concert at YOYO last November. The setlist is little different from a few months ago, even if rearranged in a different order. Two new tracks take place: Dream Car Ocean Drive, from the first album Entity, for a more rhythmic version than on the album and the dramatic Honey.
The heartbreaking Pretty Infiniti and its poignant "Is there someone?" leaves marble, with sublime final notes. On the contrary, on the sensual Exotic and Runaway, the singer plays it and does not refrain from making love at the microphone. Tonight, Max Colombia is happy and it shows. He smiles at the audience many times, says he's not good at talking so he just does his job perfectly, with boundless energy. As the crowd jumps like never before on Fever, we feel the end of the concert. He decides to take us on video. Yet, at the end, we see him watching intensely backstage, as if asking permission. It looks tuned to, green lights and choruses of You're Mine resonate for an exquisite first finale.

As a reminder, Oscar and the Wolf interprets Touch Down and Strange Entity, in long version. Unlike the concert at YOYO, no one arrives unexpectedly on stage. A finale less in apotheosis but a show just as unforgettable!
Oscar and the Wolf always thinks bigger and will be in concert at the Olympia on November 5th. And if his native country continues to flock to the French capital, we advise you to quickly book your seats here.
