The filming of the spin-off on Han Solo has finally started and here is the proof!
The shooting of the movie about Han Solo has finally begun! Here is the very first photo of the cast (almost) in full. We find Alden Ehrenreich (Ave Caesar) in the role of the young bounty hunter, just ahead of Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke. Woody Harrelson is on the top left, just above one of the two directors, Christopher Miller. To Clarke's right, second director Phil Lord and to his right, Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian. We find Phoebe Waller-Bridge, star of Fleabag, just behind Ehrenreich. Finally, the inevitable Chewbacca interpreted by Finnish basketball player Joonas Suotamo. One person is unfortunately not present in this photo: Thandie Newton, recently unveiled in Westworld.
Lord and Miller comment on the photo:
"To see inspired people from all over the world, with such unique voices, come together for the sole purpose of making art, is nothing so miraculous. We can't laugh at that, because we feel really moved, and really lucky."
The still untitled spin-off of Han Solo Star Wars Story is currently scheduled for May 25, 2018, 5 months after the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi (released on December 15). We are now very eager to discover the first images and the first trailer! Business to follow.
