The Bone Church : David Ayer and Chris Long's new bet

Deadline has announced: the production company Cedar Park Entertainment of David Ayer, the director of Suicide Squad, and Chris Long, is preparing a series adapted from Stephen King's poem: The Bone Church. This is an old poem written in the 60s, but only made public in 2009.Stephen King, himself, later dusted it off by unveiling a longer version, published in the collection The Bazaar of Bad Dreams in 2015. It was the latter that inspired the American production group that acquired the rights to the poem.
The Bone Church is narrated by a man, drinking glasses of alcohol in a bar. It describes a group of 32 adventurers going deep into the jungle, hoping to locate the Church of Bones they are looking for. Unfortunately, only three of them manage to come out alive. This man who tells the story is one of the survivors.
This next series of the production group Cedar Park, which does not have a broadcast date, is not associated with any television channel. Note that Chris Long, the co-founder of this company, and partner of David Ayer for this project, has already made a series adapted from a work by Stephen King, Mr Mercedes. Season 2 will be available next summer.
