A few months after the release of their new album Cool Like You, Blossoms started a European tour that stopped in Paris on October 6th!

Last spring, Blossoms unveiled their second album called Cool Like You carried by many singles already become hits such as I Can't Stand It, There's A Reason Why (I Never Returned Your Calls) and How Long Will This Last?. Thus, when the British announced a European tour that stopped in Paris on October 6 at La Maroquinerie we did not hesitate a single second to discover this new album live but also to hear their first singles that have now become emblems, like Charlemagne

Blossoms has ignited the Leather Goods!

It is in a warm atmosphere, which we find very often at the Maroquinerie, that Blossoms made his entrance on stage around 9 pm by starting his set with a perfect intro that quickly brought us to At Most A Kiss. The tone of the concert is set: everyone tonight came to dance, sing in chorus with the band and have fun. After greeting the audience, Blossoms quickly followed up with Cut Me And I ll' Bleed.

The concert continued with Texia where the band was highly acclaimed, which later led to sincere thanks from singer Tom Ogden, which were quickly followed by a presentation by their bassist Charlie Salt. Then came the turn of I Can't Stand It, from their latest opus during which we were able to observe this complicity that we know so well between Tom and drummer Joe Donovan.

The singer then abandoned his guitar, to interpret Texia which ended with a musical transition mastered to perfection, to then interpret Between My Eyes. Title during which we were able to observe a complicity between all the members of the group and we saw the guitar talents of Josh Dewhurst, during his solos.

After being acclaimed once again, Blossoms continued his concert with How Long Will This Last? ; to the delight of the audience who began to hop; and continued on Getaway. Tom then introduced their drummer Joe Donovan and the British from Stockport started the song Honey Sweet which then gave way to Cool Like You.

The singer continued the introductions with Myles Kellock on keyboards, then he addressed his audience asking if we were all having a good time, and the answer was obviously a general yes from those present that night.

The concert then continued with Blown Rose where the singer sneered because a man wanting to crowd surf suddenly fell in the middle of the pit. After a last presentation, this time concerning guitarist Josh Dewhurst, we witnessed an unexpected moment: the singer said that the band was going to perform a song we had never heard before! This is I've Seen The Future and we fell in love with this title!

The concert continued with Stranger Still and the unmissable My Favourite Room dedicated to all broken hearts. We were able to witness a moment during which each of the people present in the room gave everything! Tom then followed up with a small George Michael session and his inevitable Last Christmas and another big hit.

Back to titles now become hits with Blow and There's A Reason Why (I Never Returner Your Calls) where we were able to testify to a crazy audience who danced and spat, while sometimes even singing alone, a cappella, in front of a group smiling. The concert ended with our regret, because we wanted more with Unfaithful and their iconic Charlemagne.

Blossoms will have amazed us during their concert at the Maroquinerie de Paris on October 6th where we could see that they had improved even more, while we thought it was impossible to do better. The British group will have conquered us once again and we hope that they will return to Paris very soon!
