The second anniversary of Tom Clancy's The Division   is marked by the surpassing of the significant milestone of 20 million players worldwide.

In order to thank players for this record, Ubisoft is planning a month of in-game activities consisting of four global events from March 1to March 29 with one important event per week. These events will transform your gaming experience by making various changes to in-game activities and giving you the ability to unlock special cosmetic rewards, as well as new gameplay elements.

Tom Clancy's The Division

This is not the first time that Tom Clancy's The Division breaks records since even before the launch of the game, the record for the largest number of players gathered on a Beta of a new franchise (6.4 million players) had been broken. Upon its release, Tom Clancy's The Division became the fastest-selling new franchise in the video game industry. The development teams are not resting on these successes since no less than three expansions and nine major updates on the game have been made, including new modes, an expansion of the Dark Zone, new incursions, gameplay adjustments and several improvements.

Recently, Massive Studio introduced Update 1.8: "Resistance" where the most important free content has been added, doubling player engagement and positive feedback from the community. Julian Gerighty, Creative Director explains:

We are really proud of what we have been able to accomplish in the last two years. Listening and engaging with our community has always been our main goal and we want to thank all Tom Clancy's The Division players for their feedback and support.

Today, Tom Clancy's The Division consists of different modes, including several PvE activities, two PvP modes, a rousing survival mode, temporary activities (such as major events), double reward weekends and much more.

As a reminder, Tom Clancy's The Division is available on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC. Further information is available on the official website.
