You've probably heard of Mark Twain, the border, Tom Sawyer… The father of American literature offered us beyond his novels, short stories and other writings; a play about Adam and Eve. Based on a short story in Adam's diary, the play tells the story of the various perceptions of Eve's arrival in the Garden of Eden. The two main characters are Adam and Eve. From the arrival of Eve to their expulsion, things happen between them. Reflections on love, life as a couple, acceptance of others. Forgiveness too, because it still takes some to leave the Garden of Eden. The trials of life as a couple are also an important theme of the play. In addition to being very funny we will remember from the play a touching performance of the actors, being able to transport us simply from very funny moments to much more touching moments at the end. We find above all a refined staging where the actors carry the play without it seeming false. The story of the staging is especially very interesting. A play by Twain never translated into French on stage, it was spotted by a Bolivian director who decided to bring it to Paris. A play that travels, which gives the first French adaptation of the play at the Théo Théâtre. Available until the end of April every Thursday in the small Parisian theater.
