Faced with the crisis situation that the world is currently experiencing, many events have had to be cancelled. It is now mandatory to find new ways of understanding the events sector. The editorial team will therefore explain the means implemented to maintain Fashion Week.  As we announced a few weeks ago, the fashion world is forced to cancel or postpone some of its events. We had informed you of the cancellation of Paris Men's Fashion Week but there was a reversal of the situation this week. Indeed, the Haute Couture and Fashion Federations of Paris and Milan have declared that the 2021 men's spring-summer collections will be unveiled. The two events will be held from July 9 to 13 and July 14 to 17 respectively. The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode shared the details this week through a statement:

Each House will be present in the form of a creative and free film/video. Other content will appear in an editorialized section of the platform. The whole will be widely relayed on the main global distribution networks.

The official schedule will be maintained. As for the Paris Fashion Week Showroom, it will take the form of a virtual showroom dedicated to emerging brands. For the pleasure of fashionistas, these usually reserved events will be accessible to a wide audience.

The UK innovates

Like other countries, the United Kingdom has decided in preview to offer a fully digital edition for its June Fashion Week. But the British Fashion Council unveils a novelty for the presentation: it will be mixed. Goodbye to the male and female version. In addition to the collections presented, interviews and podcasts will also be revealed to the public. A platform is already in place to host the event. We don't know about you, but the JustFocus editorial team is already looking forward to discovering all these new features.
