Announced in the Weekly Shonen Jump in December 2017, the movie My Hero Academia: Two Heroes (Boku no Hero Academia: Futari no Hero) is finally in Japanese theaters! To celebrate its release, this Friday, August 3, one million spectators were offered a special volume, entitled "My Hero Academia Vol. Origin". This one returns to the early years of All Might, until then very little revealed by the mangaka Kōhei HORIKOSHI!
A bonus rich in information!

Since its release in France, in April 2016, it has been impossible to miss the editorial success of Ki-oon, My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia – 僕のヒーローアカデミア)! The manga, three seasons of which are already available on DNA, now has its own film. My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, supervised by Kōhei HORIKOSHI himself, is to be set between the second and third seasons, just after the arc of the end-of-term exams.
Synopsis of the film
The final exams are finally over and Yuei's students are preparing for summer camp. Izuku and All Might receive an invitation from a certain person to go abroad to a huge traveling town called "I-Island". In this island, a kind of Hollywood of science that brings together the knowledge of scientists from all over the world, is held the I-Expo, an event dedicated to the results of research on Alters and superheroes.
Izuku meets Melissa, a girl without an Alter who reminds him of his past. Suddenly, the island's impregnable security system is hacked by villains and all the islanders are taken hostage. Now, a plan capable of shaking the society of heroes is underway! And the person at the heart of it all is the number 1 hero and symbol of peace: All Might.
The Japanese release of the film was therefore accompanied by a major bonus, since the Vol. Origin by My Hero Academia, contains several chapters on the story of a young All Might and his mentor, Nana Shimura. The pages, never presented in the manga or anime, are therefore perfectly unpublished!
The good news continues, since the volume also featured several character sheets, including that of Melissa, the girl without Alter introduced by the movie Two Heroes. Finally, a discussion between Kōhei HORIKOSHI and Eiichiro ODA, author of the famous manga One Piece, was transcribed!
A release date in France?

For the moment, only a lucky few present at the premiere of My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, screened at Japan Expo 2018, have been able to discover the film in France. You will still have to wait!
And if we know that VIZ Media (Kazé, ADN) has already acquired the rights to the feature film, no release date has been announced in France. The case is therefore to be followed very closely!
