After The Tomb of the Fireflies and Your Name, we review the new edition of the DVD/BR box set of the Sherlock Holmes anime published by Black Box!
Inspired by the work of British author Arthur Conan Doyle, Sherlock Holmes is an Italian-Japanese co-production made by RAI and TMS studios between 1984 and 1985, with Kyousuke Mikuriya and Hayao Miyazaki at the helm of this 26-episode series!
First released on DVD by IDP, a new DVD/BR combo edition was released in December 2017 by Black Box.
This new collector's edition is in an A4 case that includes the following:
- 1 Artbook illustrated in A4 format of 200 pages (with folder and storyboard).
- 5 Cardboard illustrations in A4 format
- New High Definition Masters
- An unpublished French and original Japanese version
