MUET has just unveiled its new video, Electrochoc, on the EP of the same name, to discover on all platforms if you like the meeting between electro and French poetry. The mix makes magnificent sparks, to discover with a high-end clip with a beautiful choreography signed Zoé Vindimian. MUET consists of Colin Vincent, head and former head of the group VOLIN that we had appreciated a lot, and the virtuoso drummer Maxime Rouayroux. With Muet, Colin Vincent strengthens his point and does not compromise. With him, words click, bewitch, like spoken word, rap, preachers. We plunge into his poetic trance with Electrochoc. The songs wander us between electronic lyricism à la James Blake and committed tempos reminiscent of the feverish trances of a Thom Yorke. The very pictorial, almost vaporous lyrics are clearly inspired by the level of Alain Bashung and his lyricist Jean Fauque, that is to say! Accompanied by his sidekick Maxime Rouayroux, on electro-acoustic drums, the Duo on stage explores a rich and powerful sound with its analog synthesizers carried by a sometimes wild drums. The voice is sometimes soft and sometimes wild when it mixes with the complex echoes of a custom-designed effects station. Zoé Vindimian created the choreography of the video clip of Electrochoc that she dances with John Andreu to dress the magnetic music of Electrochoc, a suspended moment that leaves us between dream and reality, marrying Anglo-Saxon electro, like Four Tet and Floating Points with messianic lyrics that take us by the throat. "This Friday, February 10 will release our first EP ELECTROCHOC as well as the CLIP of the title of the same name. We did this with Thomas Bringuier, the Marnie Production team and the beautiful dancers Zoé Vindimian & John Andreu, and we are very happy with the result!
