The group Falaises releases a new extract of its E.P They Are Here. After Boy, we enjoy Hush, perfect hit and true musical revelation of the moment to discover on Just Focus.

Falaises claims to be Foals, Metronomy, but also The Cure and Joy Division: a current ultra effective sound marked by new wave and synth tablecloths. We advise you to watch their new clip Hush which highlights Alice's singing.

Their first EP, scheduled for September 2018, is already surprising because of its maturity. Mixed by Stéphane Briat (Air, La Femme, …), it already promises to revolutionize the French indie scene. The higher you go, the harder the fall will be, as the saying goes. With Falaises, it will be difficult to descend from the heights. Largely inspired by rock and indie sounds, Falaises nevertheless manages to combine more pop sounds giving a sound that is both melodic, energetic and incisive. Alice's voice, soft and without artifice, contrasts with haunting words that transcribe feelings as deep as they are sincere. Alice's personal writing in support of a catchy and rhythmic sound makes Falaises one of the few bands that can claim to make you dance to melancholic texts.

Hush's pretty sweaty clip:

This heightened sensitivity coupled with a communicative energy inevitably transports you into a universe navigating between Siouxsie and Metronomy. The higher you go, the harder the fall will be, as the saying goes. With Falaises, it will be difficult to descend from the heights. Diksha app download Falaises is the mixture between childish poetry, mischievous and wandering dreams; and a return to reality. Long synthetic waves set on scathing guitar reverbs, a melodic bass and a clear and powerful voice.
