A free space arena and a new premium vehicle are coming to Rocket League on December 7th!

Psyonix, developer, indie game publisher and creator of Rocket League,  unveiled the new space-themed update at The Game Awards in Los Angeles: Starbase ARC.

Starbase ARC is an octagonal space station, orbiting a deserted planet in a distant galaxy. The atmosphere created is one of the most epic of Rocket League, you will find ships fighting in space, floating planetoids, but also laser shots in case of goal.

This update will be available for download from Wednesday, December 7, at a price of €1.99. It will offer you a new arena, a combat vehicle, the Vulcan, as well as a feature requested by the community: the specialized training mode! Mode in which you can create your own training sequence that you can then share with other players via a code.

Additional Starbase ARC updates will be compatible with the Steam workshop, allowing SDK users to create custom levels. They will also have a new crate, the Champion Series IV, facilitating competitions, two revisited arenas (Wasteland (Night) and Utopia Coliseum (Snowy)), graphical redesigns of some vehicles, a new color blindness mode as well as the favorite arena selector allowing players to increase or decrease their selection of arenas.
