You'll take a little bit of Pitch Perfect, right?
After changing the original release date from July 21, 2017 to August 4 of the same year, Universal Studios has revised its schedule to make some changes. As a result, Pitch Perfect 3 will land in the middle of the Christmas holidays, namely December 22, 2017.
A late date that at least has the merit of opening a boulevard to competing productions and in particular the 100% female Girl Trip, which should tell the trip of four girlfriends to New Orleans for the annual Essence festival; while leaving more time to Kay Cannon, the screenwriter to flesh out the story of this 3rd part.Nominated for the Emmy for Best Screenplay and an actress with extensive experience in improvisation, Cannon is also known for her work on the series 30 Rock and New Girl.
What is certain is that we will find the entire cast of the franchise, including Anna Kendrick, Britanny Snow and Rebel Wilson. However, the presence of new players will be revealed later.
