Disney-Pixar sets a new record! In just two days, their new film pocketed $231.5 million internationally and $180 million in the United States alone. This great success allows the Incredibles 2 to taste the best start for an animated film. It thus dethrones Finding Dory, another highly anticipated sequel and which, in 2016, had brought in $ 135.1 million during its first weekend.
The Incredibles 2 is also positioned as the 8th best movie debut in the United States, just ahead of Beauty and the Beast which had amassed $ 174.6 million. And this performance is not over! The film has not yet been released in many countries.
