Awarded at the Venice Film Festival for its screenplay, the Coen brothers' next film, The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, is beginning to be delayed. Yesterday, Netflix unveiled a brand new trailer.

The film, presented as a mini-series by the American duo, has as its main theme the great figures or subgenres of the American western. Quite poorly received at the Venice Film Festival (like almost all Coen films), the film seems to be full of qualities, both for its origin (we are still talking about the Coen brothers), and for its atmosphere. Indeed, sketch films are becoming increasingly rare on the Hollywood set and their atmospheres are often similar. Here, the directors seem to have found something to surprise us.

Without talking only about the film, it is impossible to omit the casting, as each new shot of this trailer makes us recognize familiar faces. Whether it's Tom Waits (The Book of Eli), playing a gold digger, Tim Blake Nelson (Colossal, Minority Report) or James Franco (no need to name a movie to remind you who you're talking about) to go to Liam Neeson (either) everyone has a small place in this trailer. A bunch of actors that we are ready to see burst the screen for directors like the Coen brothers.

The Ballad of Buster Scruggs will be available on the platform from November 16, but until then, we can still enjoy this new trailer rich in surprises and twists.
