This Sunday, a giant meeting will be held online at 6pm with the crew of the film The Lord of the Rings. Josh Gad will host this show. Josh Gad is an animator, singer and actor (notably seen as the Fool in Beauty and the Beast). He set up a YouTube show during the lockdown. His name? Reunited Apart. There are already three videos. The first is the one with the cast of the Goonies. The second with that of Back to the futur. Finally a last one with the actors of Splash. The goal is to entertain of course, but also to raise funds to donate to charities related to the Covid-19 pandemic.

We were surprised (and happy) to find a mythical scene from the first part The Fellowship of the Ring between Gandalf and Frodo.

"I wish the ring never came to me, I wish none of this happened," Frodo says. "The same goes for everyone who lives to see such moments. But it's not up to them, all you have to decide is what to do with the time allotted to you." Gandalf replied.

Filming of the series should resume soon

Filming of the series, which began in February, should have continued for a 2021 release. However, with the coronavirus, all production has stopped. Filming in New Zealand could not continue. However, for about ten days, this country has authorized the resumption of shooting. This is also why Avatar 2 was able to resume. The Lord of the Rings series should therefore take the same path in a short time. At the time of the interruption the Spaniard Juan Antonio Bayona was shooting the first two episodes. Even if the cast will not be the same as that of the film, we can't wait to discover it. Recall that the series provides 5 seasons and a colossal budget. $1 billion was planned according to Hollywood Reporter. If the rumor is true, this would be the most expensive series of all time.
