While it will be available worldwide on June 22, Switch owners will be able to meet on Mario Tennis Aces courses earlier than expected with the pre-launch tournament organized by Nintendo!
This event was announced by Nintendo, during the live in March. Although several videos have been uploaded, we must admit that controllers in hand (or Joy-Con if you prefer), it will be easier to know if Mario Tennis Aces is for you.
The tournament will take place during the weekend of Friday, June 1st 4pm to Monday, June 4th 1am, in which you can play as Mario, Yoshi Peach or Bowser! As you progress through the phases of the competition, you'll accumulate points and unlock up to five additional characters.
In addition to online tournaments, it will also be possible to practice by playing single games against an opponent controlled by the AI.
Whether they choose to compete against players online or practice against the computer, all participants will be able to unlock Mario's free suit in overalls, usable in the full version of the game.
