Ulrich Forman is back with 1234, a new single from his album Chapter III – A perfect Storm. He directed his own tribute video to the Beatles.

First, know it, Ulrich Forman does not exist. It is one of the masks used by the composer and multi-instrumentalist Polérik Rouvière who chooses this pseudonym to publish his folk ballads, a bit psychedelic, and which often talk about love. In addition, Polérik Rouvière is an important figure in advertising music and soundtracks. But in 2018, he put aside these activities to be Ulrich Forman full-time, a songwriter with a cavernous voice, a French cross of Ray Lamontagne and Sufjan Stevens, or Andrew Bird and Iron & Wine. Here, with 1234, he delivers a single of pure old-fashioned melodic pop, and we love it a lot.

Discovered with his title "I'm in Love" which accompanied the Attractive World commercial, after the EPs "See My Love" and "Chaptrer II" and three soundtracks, it is this year that Ulrich Forman returns to the front of the stage with a third opus, ''Chapter III – A Perfect Storm'' to be released in September 2018. Last January, Ulrich Forman opened the doors of this upcoming album with the title "All I Want". Folk ballad with electro accents unfolding like a cinematographic fresco. Release relayed on Le Monde.fr, Les Inrocks.fr or even in the paper version of Les Inrocks by including the title on his April CD sampler. Single also supported by its clip, directed by the artist himself, widely broadcast on M6, W9 & MTV. If the release date of his new album has not yet been revealed, it should be next October with an extensive tour to the key.
