The 4 Rennes of Totoro completely shook the Ephemeral point Thursday, November 3. They not only sold out, but brilliantly defended their 2nd album Come to Mexico !

Bertrand (Drums), Jonathan (Guitar), Christophe (Guitar) and Xavier (Bass) had a blast last Thursday and it felt. A pleasure shared by an acquired audience that came in large numbers to support Totorro.

In the first part, La Jungle came to electrify the room with a frenetic trance rock sound. Rémy on drums, a powerful and hypnotic war machine and Mat on guitar / voice and machine, a mustachioed possessed and hysterical but so calm and posed between 2 songs. This duo seduced the Point Éphémère in a few pieces, taking the opportunity to film a clip.

A brief break and Totorro goes on stage already acclaimed by the audience. Theyare not long in sending heavy. Very quickly, the new songs mingle with those of the previous album. It is the euphoria in the room when the Hair Flavor accords are played.

Arms shake, heads move rhythmically; It "pogotte" nicely in front of the stage. On all faces, smiles from ear to ear and a lot of enthusiasm.

On stage, the boys are focused and smile when the audience encourages them to let go. Bertrand the drummer is often questioned. We finally have the impression of a great meeting between friends and it is the effervescence in the Point Éphémère.

The person in charge of merchandising ends up throwing an inflatable cactus, symbol of the last album, into the pit, which will bounce from arm to arm during part of the concert. The public is playful.

After a false start and an obvious reminder ("thank you for playing the game"), we find them with a highly anticipated title: Osao san, and the fans shudder singing the rare lyrics of Totorro ("The aircraft carrier… ")

In the end, it is difficult to describe the incredible atmosphere and infectious enthusiasm that there was at this release party at Point Éphémère. You had to be there!! Now all you have to do is watch for their next visit…

They will be on November 9th in Rennes and November 10th in Nantes at the Ferrailleur for 2 other release parties! Yes, they don't get tired of it and neither do we!
