This is the director's second feature film since the first was 15 years ago "Elle et lui au 14ème étage" with Guillaume Depardieu. The star of the day is the story of a circus in agony that settles in the Nord Pas de Calais, where the director is from: "We must see here as a metaphor for life: the image of the world quite simply, to show the beautiful as well as the worst, the danger, dreams and illusions. Roaming also because at the base we are all nomads passing through this land … ».
