Thursday, January 18 marked the highly anticipated return of season 14 of Grey's Anatomy on ABC. If we knew, thanks to Camilla Luddington's confidences, what the episode was going to be about, the expectation had not weakened! Back on this episode entitled "1-800-799-7233". Spoilers alert!

Grey's Anatomy : nothing is going well for Jo!

We left the previous episode about the collision between Jo and Paul Stadler, her abusive ex-husband. Episode 9 picks up exactly then. Jo is in shock throughout the episode and it is very well shown to the camera. It revolves around her several times, the sound is slightly transformed to make us perceive Jo's loss of control. Matthew Morrison, actor playing Paul, plays both sides of his character admirably: the harmless one who can see red at any moment. This darkness is very well expressed by Matthew's eyes. Jo, beyond the shock, is afraid for herself, for Alex and Matthew's fiancée: Jenny, played by Bethany Joy Lenz.

If it seems that the couple leaves rather quickly after Paul and Jo sign the divorce papers, they return to threaten Jo. Indeed, thanks to Arizona's intervention, Jo was able to have a few minutes with Jenny to find out if she too would be beaten by Paul. She even leaves him her phone number to help her if necessary. However, he finds out where Jenny plays Jo and they return to threaten her. However, given the end of the episode, it is not certain that he will be a threat for very long. Case to follow!

Grey's Anatomy: Chaos for the Grey Sloan Memorial!

While Jo is dealing with this crisis, Miranda, Richard and the others are dealing with another: the hospital has been hacked. Result of the races: return to paper, inability to have access to the blood bank. Shonda Rhimes once again torments her hospital and every doctor is under stress. Thus, Meredith will have to use the blood of her intern to be able to complete her operation and will get Paul's unexpected intervention. It will also be an undeniable support for Jo and will deliver a line that will sound cult for aficionados of the series: "You are Jo Wilson, I know exactly who you are".

As for Bailey, she will find her support in the first transgender intern of the series. Indeed, Casey, the intern, will be of great help to restore the situation in the hospital when Miranda will realize that the FBI does not have the same objectives as this one. Even a certain complicity will emerge between the two protagonists and we hope to see Casey again in the next episodes!

Grey's Anatomy : Rapprochement in the air between Jackson and Maggie!

We announced it to you this summer, that's it! The rapprochement between Maggie and Jackson is underway. Isolated for surgery outside the hospital, Jackson and Maggie will have fun discovering their differences. Taking advantage of a good shower to remove all the blood from their patient (see the previous episode), we will have the chance to see them in a towel for an ambiguous discussion about their relationship. Jackson will even throw a pole to Maggie and we will also take the opportunity to glow his abs. However, at the end of the episode, Maggie, who forgot her Tinder date, will respond to the outstretched pole by saying that their relationship is complicated but that she does not say no. Well, this one left with the forgotten appointment, but let's not despair! Shonda Rhimes is slowly but surely preparing the ground for a new romance.

Grey's Anatomy : Despite the chaos, lightness remains at the rendezvous!

Indeed, we will have Sam, DeLuca's former lover, who tired, scares patients. This will accentuate Richard's disarray on the new interns. Or again, Arizona, who has fun playing on Tinder, who will be entitled to very ambiguous remarks from Carina. Even Maggie will bring her lightness by joking about her patient's blood on her body. Creepy but hilarious! Finally, we will remember the moment when "Lunettes" will faint head first in his patient. It's a treat.

To conclude, the cover of Grey's Anatomy is up to what we had left last December. The central character of the episode is undoubtedly Jo, even if other adventures revolve around this arc. Shonda Rhimes delivers an episode where gravity and lightness mix in a perfect balance! Eagerly the sequel!
