Amazon has just unveiled the new trailer for the series HOMECOMING, psychological thriller with Julia Roberts, which will be released on November 4.
Adapted for television by Sam Esmail (the creator of Mr. Robot), this series is based on a fictional podcast of the same name, released in 2016 by the media group Gimlet.
Homecoming centers on the character of Heidi Bergman (Julia Roberts), a former social worker who worked at Homecoming, a secret government facility dedicated to transitioning former soldiers into civilian clothes. Four years later, Heidi became a waitress and lives with her mother (Sissy Spacek – Castle Rock, Bloodline). When questioned by the government about her career change, Heidi seems to have trouble regaining her memory…
The cast will also include Stephan James (Shots Fired), Shea Whigham (Boardwalk Empire), Bobby Cannavale (Boardwalk Empire) and Dermot Mulroney (who played Julia Roberts' best friend in My Best Friend's Wedding).
