Against The Current is a pop-rock band formed in Poughkeepsie, New York in 2011. The band's first single " Thinking " was released in July 2012, followed a year later by "Closer", with Faster appearing on their debut EP Infinity in 2014. Animated by Costanza's catchy, rhythmic melodies and powerful voice, Against The Current's style is more on the pop side of the spectrum.
After an acoustic EP, the trio released their third EP Gravity in 2015 and caught the attention of indie label Fueled By Ramen Records. With a new label in hand, the Americans had started releasing singles in early 2016 before unveiling their first album In Our Bones. It was followed two years later by a second opus Post Lives.
