After weeks of rumors and leaks, the first installment of Pokemon for the Nintendo Switch has finally been unveiled with Pokemon let's go Pikachu and Pokemon let's go Eevee !
While many expected an announcement on the night of the 30th to the 31st following an announcement by a Japanese TV channel, it is finally the night before May 29th to 30th that the saga takes shape.

As you may have seen in pictures, this new episode named Let's go Pikachu and Let's go Eevee will take place in the Kanto region, that is to say that of the initial red/blue/green/yellow episodes. According to this first trailer, the main novelty seems to be the capture system that would be based on the gyroscope of the console. This technology allows a detection of movements, it will simulate the sending of a Pokeball. We also see in this trailer some other confirmed rumors such as the interaction with Pokemon Go. The success of this mobile game developed by Niantic seems quite promising for Nintendo and Game Freak (the studio developing the Pokemon franchise in video games) decide to join forces for this episode on Nintendo Switch. In addition, we also note that for the first time a main episode of Pokemon will be playable with two on a single machine.
The versions of Pokemon Let's go Pikachu and Let's go Eevee will be released on November 16, 2018 on Nintendo Switch!
But that's not all, because before showing Pokemon Let's go Pikachu and Let's go Eevee, the Pokemon Company had fun unveiling a new game that will arrive soon, called Pokemon Quest!
This episode has the particularity of adopting a bias for the cubic, with action-RPG notions inversely to the main episodes of the saga which are turned towards the tactical-RPG. The player is dropped on the island Three Dice where he will have to complete quests by forming a team of 3 Pokemon maximum. These will move themselves, while you will only control their abilities and training.
The Pokemon Quest game is already available for free on Nintendo Switch (via the e-shop) and mobile!
To finish these announcements, the Japanese firm announced that in addition to the games presented, a new main episode of Pokemon is planned for 2019 !
