The cast of Empire grows with the arrival of the actress known to fans of This Is Us, Ryan Michelle Bathe.
The actress joins the cast alongside the famous Forest Whitaker who plays Eddie Barkers, Lucious' mentor much appreciated by Empire fans.During the final season, Eddie Barkers finds himself plunged into a financial crisis when he learns, from his ex-wife, that all his savings have disappeared. The two former lovers then decide to join forces to liquidate their shares and try to limit the damage.
This ex-wife was played by Ryan Michelle Bath who will now be part of the recurring cast. It is therefore very likely that the next season will focus a little more on Eddie's private life which, until then, was almost unknown!
