The Deauville Festival and OCS, a major player in cinema and series in France, are renewing their collaboration for the 43rd edition. The two partners highlight the jewels of American cinema. In addition to various planned tributes, an exceptional preview of the series The Deuce is on the program.

Several references of international cinema will be honored at the beginning of September. We're talking about Laura Dern (dazzling in Big Little Lies), Michelle Rodriguez… One of the highlights, however, will be the broadcast of The Deuce, a show created by David Simon. We owe him real jewels of the universe of series like The Wire or Treme. The pilot will be broadcast on Saturday, September 9 at 5 p.m. at the Casino Theatre.

Season 1 meanwhile, will land on OCS City from September 11 at 20:40.

The plot of the Deuce focuses on the explosion of the adult industry from the early 70s to the mid-80s. In addition to the particular theme of the series, James Franco should be one of the curiosities of The Deuce since he will play two twin brothers who run bars serving as a cover for mafia networks.

After 22/11.63 where he plunged back into the past to change the course of American history, new foray on the small screen for one of the most talented actors of his generation. He will be alongside Maggie Gyllenhaal who plays here a prostitute in search of freedom in a complicated world for women.
