Emmy Awards 2017: the winners

The 69th Emmy Awards, the most prestigious awards of the American small screen was held last Sunday in Los Angeles. Back on this evening that offered us its share of surprises. 

The new edition of the Emmy Awards chaired by Stephen Colbert and which took place this Sunday in Los Angeles had the merit of highlighting many novelties. While it has often been attacked for always rewarding the same programs and the same personalities, this ceremony has praised many personalities of color like Sterling K. Bright (Best Actor in a Drama). 

On the drama side, The Handmaid's Tale is the big winner of the night by winning the Emmy for best drama series. It also saw its lead actress, Elizabeth Moss win the Emmy for Best Actress in a Drama. A first for her after being nominated 6 times for her character in the Mad Men series.
