Strokes guitarist Nick Valensi plays vocals with the formation of a new band, CRX, based in Los Angeles.

CRX's debut album New Skin is released on October 28

Much more 90's than on the creations of the Strokes, the album New Skin was produced by Josh Homme, co-founder of the band Eagles of Death Metal and Queen's of The Stone Age (of which he is still a member); and mixed by Andrew Scheps (Adèle, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beyoncé…)

The other members of the band are: Richie James Follin (Guards), Ralph Alexander (The Dose), Darian Zahedi and Jon Safley (The Reflections).

For now, only one tour of the United States is underway. While waiting to discover the full album on October 28, some live tracks are exposed on the web. Here, Ways to Fake it and Slow Down.

Unveiled a few days ago, Broken Bones is a powerful and haunting track, whose lyrics were inspired by a motorcycle accident that earned Nick a long hospitalization. We are looking forward to the release of the album which, without a doubt, will not disappoint fans of garage and alternative rock.

The group communicates a lot on social networks. You can follow all their news on their Facebook or Twitter account, or on their Official Website.
