Two years after unveiling her last album Paradis Secret, Jenifer is now back on the musical airwaves by offering this Wednesday, August 29, a new song, called Notre Idylle.
Our idyll: with two "L" to better fly away
We had recently discovered her in Traqués, a nice surprise signed TF1, in which she plays a young flayed by a painful past. This time, the Corsican singer returns to her first love: song. And that's probably where she was missing the most. After The Voice Kids, a TV movie and a very shortened tour, the impatience of fans grew at high speed. Last May, Jenifer confided to her fans the dates of her twenty concerts that she will give in spring 2019. If the ticket office of her two-part tour has been open since, the singer was discreet about the imminence of a new musical launch.
Three months are enough for the first single of his future album to come out of his cocoon, and be presented to the general public.
With Notre Idylle, it is not difficult to understand that Jenifer obeys her desires. Through carefully thought out words by the little-known singer-songwriter Corson, she embraces (once again) the lexical field of love. Banal certainly, but inexhaustible. The singer knows how to unravel the too, and makes good use of words away from scuttling. In Notre Idylle, singing seizes space to express itself at its true value. No frills that disfigure, but a simple vocal naturalness enlivened by a few quibbles: it sparkles with authenticity.
She pours her words on guitar tunes slightly blurred by the arrangements, celebrating a message of love a little floating but simple to capture:
"My love, will we leave ourselves feverish, feverish? / Might as well shout it from the rooftops, our idyll, our idyll / Before life plays with our flaws, erase the evidence and details / My love will it get out of it, our idyll? »
Our Idyll is effective by its solar appearances. Yet far from being risky, his pop seduces.
She cracks the modernity of her novelty with a neat clip, with retro accents, captured between Seoul and Paris. Playful, light, it sticks to his skin.

On October 26, the artist will unveil her fifteen songs in an album entitled Nouvelle Page with, in the pen, names such as Yseult, Tibz, Christophe Maé or Slimane with whom she shares a song.
Since the rut took shape on the set of Star Academy in 2002, Jenifer continues to spoil her followers. She will embark on her tour in Ajaccio in March 2019 and will continue to Lille, Bordeaux and the Seine Musicale in Paris on May 18.
