Are you overdosing on Mariah Carey and Michael Bubblé this holiday season? No worries, we have the remedy you need!

That's it, you've just finished shopping for Christmas gifts. The groceries for the meal are in the fridge, and the table decoration already laid. This year, you have insured!

But, have you thought about the soundtrack to your Christmas Eve? Apparently not. And, out of the question to settle for a ready-made playlist, which will play All I want for Christmas is you, followed by Silent Night and Last Christmas. A little originality! That's why, at JustFocus, we've dug through our personal playlists and the meanders of the internet to find you the best tracks that will accompany your festive meal, from fatty bites to digestive tea.

I therefore give the floor to my dear colleagues and I wish you a very Merry Christmas, with music;)

Sarah's Choice

GrapellSnowflakes

After a first EP released in November, the Swedish duo Grapell offers us a beautiful winter ride. Friends since childhood, they have an alchemy and a musical complicity. While the beginning of Snowflakes is soft and delicate, the rest of the track is more energetic, the sound of bells mingling with high pitched vocals.

Camille's choices

ColdplayChristmas Lights

Coldplay necessarily has a title that we do not know heart such as Paradise, Yellow, The Scientist and so many others. But do you know this title that they had released a few years ago for Christmas? If not, well immediate catch-up session and you will not regret it!

BirdyWhite Winter Anthem

On his first opus Birdy had made many covers including White Winter Hymnal by Fleet Foxes. His cover is just perfect for Christmas: a soft voice, a melody as we like them. In short, perfect to accompany your winter evening.

Emma's choice

Twenty One PilotsOh, Ms Believer

From the band's 2009 self-titled album, Oh, Ms. Believer is a staple of the winter season. An almost religious song and the regular sound of bells, in the service of darker and introspective themes. No tearful melody nevertheless, but a calm and serene tone: to listen in the evening, and if possible feet in the snow …

Noucky's picks

PentatonixLittle Drummer Boy

I must admit that Christmas carols have never been my thing. Even though I grew up with the Spanish villancicos de navidad, I find it super kitsch overall. And then I started listening to Pentatonix… And they started singing Christmas carols every year as the holidays approached… And a song I hated like Little Drummer Boy became an unimaginable source of emotion for me. If you are looking for a little enchantment with a varied palette of styles and emotions, do not hesitate to draw from the Christmas albums of Pentatonix !!

Josh Groban – Happy Xmas (War Is Over

So seen, reviewed and corrected… But it's a little guilty pleasure… Josh Groban remains a touching singer. It's dripping with lots of good feelings and peace on earth and everything, but I want to say… SO WHAT? It's a shame we don't keep the essentials of Christmas. NO I'm not talking about gifts, but about the spirit! (Bands of venals!!)

Greg's Picks

Eartha Kitt – Santa Baby

It seems that it is in the old jars that the best jams are made. And when we think of the Christmas spirit, a snowy American suburb, houses decorated without parsimony and old Christmas tubes as pleasant as barley sugar comes to mind. Look no further and immerse yourself in this 1953 classic with the languorous voice of Eartha Kitt and her legendary Santa Baby.

The Pogues feat. Kirsty MacCollFairytale of New York

Cited by several critics as one of the best Christmas titles, Fairytale of New York by The Pogues featuring English singer Kirsty MacColl, makes you both nostalgic and cheerful. We stay far from the so-called traditional and polite Christmas songs, but at least has the merit of transporting us to distant lands and also making us smile if we imagine old uncles and aunts bickering over a piece of foie gras.

McFlyDeck The Halls

A nice cover of the classic Deck the Halls, by the English band McFly. We want to put on a bell cap and sing with them.

The Roots, Jimmy Fallon, Anna Kendrick & Darlene LoveChristmas (Baby Please Come Home)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMTJrFPie6w&ab_channel=TheTonightShowStarringJimmyFallon

Jimmy Fallon & The Roots from The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon return once again for a Christmas song (they had already invited Mariah Carey!), this time with Anna Kendrick and Darlene Love. Take your xylos, let's go!
