From July 20 to February 16, the unconventional rockstar Marilyn Manson is on a world tour on the occasion of the release of her tenth studio album "Heaven upside down", released on October 6, and composed of ten tracks.
"I don't attract what I am, I attract what I am, dead as the bees buzzing inside my head, Hold my hand and spin around, […], this is heaven upside down", barks Manson's voice on the track that gave its name to the album.
The lacerated and dark aesthetic of the Pale Emperor is still as effective after nine albums, set in motion by already a video clip, for the song SAY10 [Satan], in which the actor Johnny Depp appears, the face partially covered in white paint and the look even darker than in a Tim Burton film.
The actor and the rockstar are long-time friends, and we have already done live shows together, Marilyn Manson on vocals and Johnny Depp, also a member of the group Hollywood Vampires, on guitar.
Brief interruption of the tour
Nine dates of the Heaven Upside Down Tour had to be cancelled following an accident that took place during the performance of Sweet Dreams, in New York, where Marilyn Manson was injured, but the date of November 27 in Paris is maintained.
On the Set Lists of the first concerts of the tour, there are of course songs from Heaven Upside Down, but also many songs from previous albums that are at the origin of the success of "the Antichrist Superstar", as Marilyn Manson is sometimes called.
