Cut posterA play about women's lower bellies

Why is women's sex as coveted a fruit as a taboo subject? Why is the woman born with a weight, a social pressure that envelops this mysterious cleft ? From the sacred feminine to the object woman, the sex of the woman remains an enigma, an original sin, an evil temptation, an idiot, a mold, a kitty, a zezette … In Médée, Jean Anouilh makes his heroine regret the fact of being born a woman and having to live with this open wound that makes her weak and dependent on man. In the monologues of the vagina, Eve Ensler collects sociological testimonies, hilarious or heartbreaking anecdotes about the female sex which is sometimes a subject of pleasure, a weapon of mass destruction, an inconsiderate object and so on.
In Cut, Emmanuelle Marie puts at the center this notch, this hole, "that", in order to question the place of the "weaker sex" in our society in the face of education, men, judgments. Are you a slut when you love the pleasures of the pulpit? Why don't women always allow themselves to? To be seduced by a man? Why do we need to be constantly in judgment? Are there answers to everything?

Cut-3Cut: a light and funny show

Three women, with multiple faces, tell us their stories. Frontally, they indulge, lay themselves bare, dare to the delight of the public who welcomes a captivating and humorous text. Very touching, they are generous and reveal both their fragility and their strength. Human actresses, who embark us and prove their talent subtly, according to the story. The staging surprises us, mixing dance, musical passages, choral formations, all perfectly executed. We also welcome the presence of the actor who is led by these charismatic women and who highlights them during his appearances. We would like it to exist in its own right in this story.
