Enzo Carniel reactivates his group House of Echo. The new album Wallsdown , scheduled for April 3rd at Jazz & People, takes us into a relaxing futuristic atmosphere of supernatural beauty. To discover if you like soaring jazz and vaporous atmospheres. House of Echo, Enzo Carniel's ambient project, is undoubtedly one of the all too well-kept secrets of French jazz. Moreover, is it really in the jazz department that we should classify this experimental music and yet of a remarkably obvious access? The new album Wallsdown is a marvel of soaring music. An album of atmospheric, suspended, cosmic jazz… Crossed here and there by spray of groove and flights of piano typically jazz, for a music that hovers three thousand. This perfectly sums up the music of House of Echo, led by pianist Enzo Carniel, which accentuates the electronic turn that we appreciated on the album Echoïdes. The music stems from a manifest desire to set a scene, which we discover with hearing, the imagination being responsible for drawing the contours. With Wallsdown, we savor a sensory journey that manifests itself with sounds of stones colliding, as if to provoke satori. And it's successful, we find ourselves immersed in a highly collected, even spiritual atmosphere. 
From the outset, we are immersed in a space, wide, open, where sounds and notes respond to each other in a universe that we would think indecisive, but which gradually orients us and even drags us along. No ostentation, no univocal injunction, nothing but a path that is emerging and that we will follow by populating it with images. For Wallsdown, House of Echo keeps the team of the previous album: Enzo Carniel piano, piano prepared. Marc Antoine Perrio guitar, Ariel Tessier drums, Simon Tailleu double bass. This new album is a hymn to the beauty of deserts, rockeries, mountains leaden with sunshine that nevertheless teem with life and infinitely small.
