The Warrior Nun series, created by Simon Barry and adapted from the comic book series "Warrior Nun Areala", is the type of underside series that we start without much conviction but that manages to surprise and seduce us quickly thanks to its original and surprising scenario.

What is the story of Warrior Nun?

After being miraculously resurrected, Ava (Alba Baptista), a 19-year-old orphaned and quadriplegic woman, discovers that she can walk again and that she possesses incredible divine faculties that are highly coveted. She then decides to flee but is quickly caught by warrior sisters ready to do anything to recover her and fight their common enemies at her side. However, we still recommend that you watch (and even binge-watch) this series that is worth the detour and changes series usually offered on Netflix.
