Who will be in charge?
At the end of 2017, Paramount Pictures announced France distribute the live-action of the animated series of the 2000s: Dora the Explorer. Questions, surprise, misunderstanding, expectations… Internet users did not hide their feelings about this announcement. Especially since a first rumor had quickly launched on the identity of the director. Michael Bay? This is one of the first names that came out and was very recently denied by the director of Transformers himself. Through the web platform of his production company as well as on social networks, Michael Bay said:
"Michael Bay and Platinum Dunes have nothing to do with the movie Dora the Explorer. This has been falsely reported in the media."
With the film scheduled for release on August 7, 2019 in France, the film's directors and crew have already begun shooting. It is therefore in Australia that will take place this Teen movie directed by James Bobin (Alice through the Looking Glass) accompanied by the director and screenwriter Nicholas Stoller (Our Worst Neighbors, American Trip).
A surprising cast
