The American franchise "Power Rangers" is originally an adaptation of a Japanese program called Super Sentai. 33 years after being discovered by Haim Saban, an Israeli-born composer, the group of heroes is set to return to the big screen on April 5.

The program was a pioneer in its field as it was one of the first to feature female heroines and male characters with different backgrounds. For this reboot, Dean Israelite was chosen as director. This is not really a guarantee of quality since he was at the helm of Project Almanac. On the other hand, the budget allocated to the film is substantial since it exceeds 100 million dollars and we can find a world-class actor, Bryan Cranston, the unforgettable Walter White of Breaking Bad.

The Metropolitan, which distributes the film in France, has just unveiled a first extract on the web. The future heroes discover a very strange ship. We can rather be reassured by the photography of the film which allows to have a very different rendering from the previous films. The special effects also seem to be of good quality. If the alchemy between these elements is maintained, we could witness entertainment of good quality.

The film will be on French screens on March 22.
