The fact of adapting all the classics that made the heyday of Disney studios at one time is difficult to understand. Among the most absurd projects, the idea of transposing Peter and Elliott the dragon which is far from being the most striking Disney.
After a first trailer unveiled several weeks ago that plunged us into this family adventure by suggesting the creature, this second trailer reveals the dragon Elliott of the 21st century. It seems to fit well on the screen. Its design matches the image of this modern remake which is just like the original, a film formatted for the family.
The cast is of quality since it includes Bryce Dallas Howard, Oakes Fegley, Wes Bentley, Karl Urban, Oona Laurence and Robert Redford. It is hard to believe that such a bunch is gathered for a poor result. What seems to be the strong point of the film is its photography. The feature film was shot entirely in New Zealand. In addition, the atmosphere that can be felt during this trailer plunges us directly into the cinema of the 80s.
We will appreciate Peter and Elliott the dragon for the messages it seems to convey. It should be a very pleasant entertainment during the summer season.
