The ultimate 4K event at Nvidia France

There was a taste of Christmas in this invitation from Nvidia France to test in the best possible conditions the latest games in 4K at 60 FPS, just like at home. We were greeted with great fanfare in their defense headquarters to try Playerunknown's Battleground, Destiny 2, Forza 7, Star Wars Battlefront 2 and a plethora of other games on PCs equipped with the latest Geforce 1080 TI. This graphics card achieves 4K resolution while remaining at a smooth framerate of 60 frames per second. However, it will cost around 769 euros for the "Founders Edition" and have a very solid pc to accompany it. It is 35% more powerful than its little sister the Geforce 1080, which was already the high-end of Nvidia. It was Stéphane Quentin (the senior PR manager), who was able to answer all our questions in a relaxed atmosphere about the future of graphics card technologies, and apparently the new 2000 series "It's not for everyone right away". Note also the presence of Nvidia's 100% gamer tablet, the Shield TV. It allows you to view multimedia content in 4K HDR via Netflix in particular, to play a fairly extensive catalog of games with Geforce Now but also from the Google Playstore. Its price is set at 229 € but a pro version exists for 379 € and embeds a 500 GB hard drive against the 16 GB of the basic version. You will find some photos of the event such as this custom Doom PC, the Forza installation with steering wheel, or this beautiful Oled 4K HDR TV screen. For the rest, it's on twitter with the hashtag #ultimate4K
