We told you last week about Absentia, the new series of actress Stana Katic (Castle). Today, the series recruits a partner for the actress, and it is the American actor Patrick Heusinger who gets the first male role.
According to the American site Deadline, the producers of the future series Absentia have set their sights on actor Patrick Heusinger (Gossip Girl, Revolution) to take on the male lead alongside the former star of the series Castle, Stana Katic.
The series is scheduled to begin filming its first season of 10 episodes in early 2017 for a broadcast a few months later.
No channel is yet attached to the project, but Sony Pictures TV's international network, AXN, will sell the series.
Patrick Heusinger will play the ex-husband of Stana Katic's character, an FBI agent who suddenly reappears without memories after a six-year disappearance, during which he was presumed dead.
