The manga centers its story on this hitman nicknamed "Fable". Armed with his favorite handgun, he can eliminate any person in 6 seconds, if ordered. In short, killing is just a mere formality for him. However, his life changes when his sponsor orders him to stop his activities and lead a normal life for 1 year. Which means not killing anyone. For this habitual crime, leading a normal life could prove to be his biggest mission. 
Inspired by the greatest suspense series of our time such as The Sopranos or Breaking Bad, The Fable enjoys a thrilling plot full of twists and turns. In addition, the author, Katsuhisa Minami injects a touch of humor into his work and takes advantage of the offbeat side of the main character to defuse the most tense scenes! Borrowing this code from filmmaker Quentin Tarantino, known for debunking the myth of the gangster in films like Pulp fiction or Reservoir Dogs.
