Jamis Lee Curtis has hinted that the new Halloween, which will be released at the end of October, will be his last film.

Aged 59, the American actress who became famous thanks to John Carpenter's first Halloween film in 1978, finds herself, 40 years later, in this sequel that bears the same name but this time so directed by David Green Gordon. The actress said the new Halloween would be the perfect movie to retire.

"Halloween is my life," she said and it's no small thing to say it. After Halloween, the night of the masks in 1978, Halloween 2 in 1981, Halloween, 20 years later in 1998 and Halloween resurrection in 2002, Jamis Lee Curtis' career revolved around this franchise.

Halloween 2018 is a direct sequel to the very first Halloween. It is in a way a call to forget the previous sequels and remakes to fall back into the essence and the direct sequel to Halloween, the night of the masks.

40 years have passed since the first Halloween. The character Laurie Strode, played by Jamis Lee Curtis, has grown in many ways. She has treated her trauma at the expense of her family and her personal life "She has to fight for her life," adds the actress.

Even though this movie could be her last, she reassures her fans in interviews by saying "I don't know what I'm going to do tomorrow" but "Halloween could be my last movie. It would be perfect symmetry."

Halloween will be released in France on October 24, a perfect film for those who want to celebrate October 31 in style.
