Progressive Metal lovers, hello! Following the announcement of Devin Townsend Project's new album: Transcendence which will be released on September 2nd, a French tour has been announced. It will pass through Paris, Marseille and Bordeaux at the end of January. Two bands will also be on the program: Between The Buried And Me and Leprous.
No need to introduce Devin Townsend, this musical prodigy not afraid to express himself fully and without restraint through these albums, passing without problem from Ambient to Metal with always a massive sound and tinged with madness. The Canadian returns with the fine team of the Devin Townsend Project for a sixth album that may well return the Bataclan.
To open the evening, two up-and-coming bands from the progressive scene will accompany the DTP: Between The Buried And Me, a band from the United States that oscillates between Prog and Death. The band surprised us in 2015 with the excellent Coma Ecliptic.
Leprous is a Norwegian prog band influenced by Black bands such as Emperor or Zyklon. Their Metal tinged with post-rock already announce them as a band apart that will surprise a wide audience.
