This new episode of DC's Legends of Tomorrow marks the end of the crossover between the four superheroic series of the American channel CW. After an excellent episode of The Flash, and an episode of Arrow a little apart, will our Legends succeed in saving the Earth from the Dominators? Our response

Note: you can find the review of the 3×08 of The Flash and that of the 5×08 of Arrow to know our opinion on the first two parts of the crossover.

It's time to conclude the plot around the Dominators, and at the same time that of Invasion! which marked for the very first time Supergirl's (Melissa Benoist) foray into the Arrow-Verse. And what a conclusion! We find in this episode of DC's Legends of Tomorrow everything we are entitled to expect from a series of Greg Berlanti: action, humor, tenderness, characters who take a little head and beautiful fighting scenes!

12-serieserieAfter learning of the Dominators' plan for the world, the Legends must work together with The Flash, Supergirl, and Green Arrow to kill them once and for all.
Meanwhile, Martin Stein tries, with the help of others, to understand how the team can overcome the Dominators but he is distracted when he realizes that he created a rift in 1987.

We had left our heroes in the Waverider, rescued by Nate (Nick Zano) after they escaped from parallel reality and the Dominators' ship. We know that we are in an episode of DC's Legends of Tomorrow thanks to time travel. And it is thanks to them that our heroes will be able to save the world! Finally, especially thanks to Cisco (Carlos Valdez). For the past few weeks, he has refused to forgive Barry (Grant Gustin) for playing with the Timeline, which resulted in, among other things, killing his brother Dante. It is only by playing with the changes in time himself that he will be able to get rid of the Dominators and reconcile with Barry. We are happy to see that the stories specific to each series are not forgotten. Playing with time is used much smarter here than it was at the beginning of the third season of The Flash.4-serieserie

There's a lot going on in this episode, everything falls into place quickly, everything happens quickly. This is far from being a reproach quite the contrary. Seeing all these heroes evolve in the same direction is a real moment of pleasure. The reason why the Dominators came to Earth is finally revealed and we are not disappointed. You realize that the writers know where they're going from the beginning. The questioning of Cisco is beautiful to see, we could not do without his friendship with Barry.

7-serieserieEven if we can blame the episode for a quick conclusion of the plot around the Dominators, we witness a small rapprochement: that of Supergirl and Green Arrow (Stephen Amell). They didn't know each other before, and even if the archer decides to leave Superman's cousin on the sidelines, he will revisit his positions when she saves his life. The beginning of a friendship or at least a beautiful collaboration? When will there be a crossover between the two series?

In bulk, we will remember Martin Stein (Victor Garber), who wants to know his daughter but not too much either or Mick (Dominic Purcell) who openly flirts with Supergirl! With a large cast like that of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, we could expect oversights but all the characters are there, and in a fair way that is more!

We will also remember from this episode something that will certainly lead to a change: Supergirl now has a way to travel between the different Earths. This promises us beautiful things for the rest of the season, and we still hope for many crossovers, like the musical one, which is already planned with the series The Flash for early 2017.

In conclusion, we find ourselves in front of an excellent episode of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, which brilliantly ends the Invasion crossover! A crossover that fans were looking forward to and that the writers were able to exploit to the fullest. Despite some weaknesses and shortcuts in the plot, the idea of seeing the birth of a small Justice League is simply enjoyable! Of the three episodes broadcast (4 counting the end of that of Supergirl), we will just regret the placement of the hundredth episode of Arrow, which would have deserved a different exposure, despite its very great qualities. When do we start again?
