After the zombies, it's time for the superhero for Robert Kirkman!

Invincible-Image-Comics-Mark-Grayson-Kirkman-cInvicible is an American comic book series published by Delcourt in France. Written by Robert Kirkman, drawn by Cory Walker (then by Ryan Ottley from episode 8), the first publication dates from 2002 in the United States and already has in France 20 volumes (the twenty-first will be published on April 19).

While The Walking Dead is still a hit with its seventh season and the Outcast series has just begun its second season, Robert Kirkman intends to adapt Invincible. But it will not be in television series but in the cinema that we should find the superhero!

Indeed, the duo of shock Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg to whom we owe Preacher on AMC is in charge of the development of a film based on the universe of the Invincible comics. Robert Kirkman himself should do the script.

For neophytes, Invincible takes us in the wake of Mark Grayson, the son of the most powerful of all superheroes: Omni-man. In addition, he seems to have inherited his powers, which is not to displease him, because he had been waiting for this since his father revealed to him his true identity and origins. But, while Mark barely masters his powers, the greatest team of superheroes, the Guardians of the Globe, is murdered. This is the beginning of fights, betrayals and reversals as the protagonists mature and question themselves over the years.

While waiting to discover the film Invincible on our screens, volume 21 will be published on April 19 by Editions Delcourt.
