This is the unusual news of the week: the artist who has sold the most albums this year is none other than actor Hugh Jackman for the soundtrack of The Greatest Showman. The Australian even has the luxury of doing better than Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake or Adele.

Without going into the history of the best musicals, The Greastest Showman stood out a few months ago by offering the public a moment of good humor very nice. If the film has brought some 434 million dollars at the world box office, it is especially in the bins that the film has stood out. It is indeed four million albums that would have been sold around the world according to Bloomberg Business. It must be said that the compositions of Michael Gracey's film are catchy and that they highlight highly appreciated artists such as Hugh Jackman, Zack Efron or Zendaya. But, all the same, to do better than Justin Timberlake or Kanye West in terms of album sales, it is a hell of a performance!

The Greatest Showman 2 And the artist who has sold the most albums this year is... Hugh Jackman!

We can note in passing that this is the biggest success cine-music since Frozen and its famous Liberated, delivered (if you have it in mind we decline all responsibility). Released in 2013, the Disney phenomenon had sold ten million copies in 2014, which still places it far ahead of The Greatest Showman. Nevertheless, this success could reach the ears of music producers who could see in Hugh Jackman a new gold mine (who knows?). Anyway, it is a nice little advertisement that offers this musical freely inspired by the life of P.T. Barnum. Is this a starting point for a musical adaptation for Broadway? Time will tell.

If you do not yet know this soundtrack to the resounding success, you can now discover it below. But let's be honest: this is the kind of soundtrack that is more relevant to discover directly by watching the film.
