Introduced during episode 21 of season 3 of Chicago PD, creator Dick Wolf's new series, simply called Chicago Justice, will debut on NBC in January 2017. The casting announcements are coming right now and are surprising!

Indeed, instead of hiring a new actor, the producers simply decided to transfer one from one series to another.

Jon Seda, the interpreter of detective Antonio Dawson (Gabriella's brother from the series Chicago Fire), will leave the Chicago PD series temporarily or permanently to integrate full-time his little sister, Chicago Justice !

The actor will become a regular cast member, and we should see him evolve in duet with the character played by Joelle Carter, as a detective on behalf of the Chicago District Attorney's Office.

In the meantime, Antonio Dawson remains full-time at Chicago Intelligence under Hank Voigh, where we might see him in charming company!

A strategy that has been effective so far for the series of the Chicago franchise, since we can meet in all series characters of others, for crossovers or simply for appearances, as at the bar Molly's.

The series Chicago PD began its fourth season on September 21, while we should find Chicago Justice at the beginning of 2017, still on the NBC network.
