Stunlock Studios today unveiled the first graphic concept illustrating the map of Battlerite Royale Island.
The anticipated game mode arrives on Steam in July 2018. Talon Island is 30 times larger than a standard arena map. Severaldifferent areas will be available such as the town of Anvilfall, the glittering woods, the Starlight oasis, and the ancient tomb. Stunlock Studios has partnered with talented writer Christopher Harrow to flesh out the game's universe and plans to reveal more details about the world of Battlerite in the coming weeks.
The studio works on varied and colorful landscapes to create a sense of adventure and exploration to balance the very battle-oriented gameplay. Players can expect to find island locations such as ancient tombs, wastelands, abandoned castles, and much more.
Since the launch of Battlerite, more than 4 million players have tried their luck in the arena, which has allowed Battlerite to rise several times among the best free-to-play games on Steam. Each week, players have access to six unique champions in free rotation, and each character can be permanently unlocked with in-game currency or in-app purchases. Starting today, the "All Champion's Pack" is available to unlock the 27 current and future champions for €27.99.
