A comedy dance show, why not? To be found in Avignon at the Espace saint martial at 18:15…

EDGAR-IN-THE-HEART-IN-THE-HEELS-415x500With accents of naive malice from the first sentences Edgar opens the book of his life.
After a sober but humorous evocation of his childhood, similar to that of all little boys, Edgar tells us how he became aware of his desire to become a dancer, but not a dancer of anything, no, a classical dancer. In his environment as a construction worker, the atmosphere is suddenly weighed down by the revelation of the son to his father: "My son? In a tutu? From

that moment on, through successive paintings, Edgar advances in his difficult choice. At school, in the street, with his family, he must show great fighting spirit to overcome intolerance and finally realize his dream that will lead him to a great career as a dancer. He will be helped by Éléonore for whom his heart beats like the love he has for dance.

The choice between Éléonore and dance will be difficult but his vocation calls him and it is under the finally tender and benevolent gaze of his father that he will take the train to audition in Paris.

The décor is minimalist, it takes nothing on stage to leave Edgar room to evolve as he does with gracility and naturalness. The finesse and sensitivity of his playing are matched only by the accuracy and effectiveness of his mimes and facial expressions. With his charming smile he attracts the viewer to different characters that he embodies with a touch of accessory specific to each. The staging is fine and effective. It creates a real warm harmony, between the actor and the audience as the charisma of Edgar is great!
Do not miss this wonderful moment of dance, humor, tolerance that ends with some wonderful dance steps. A thunderous applause!
