"Are you ready to re-enter the magical world of JK Rowling?" It was with his words that the Q&A of the movie "Fantastic Beasts" began. An evening full of good surprises; JustFocus was there and I'll tell you everything!

"Fantastic Beasts", a spin-off from the world of Harry Potter

Directed by David Yates, who previously directed the last Harry Potter films, "Fantastic Beasts" plunges you back into a world of wands and magic. New York, 1920, we are in the middle of the Roaring Twenties and a real witch hunt is launched in the world of muggles. It is in this context that Norbert Dragonneau returns from a journey around the world where he listed fantastic creatures in a bestiary.

Carried by Eddie Redmayne and Colin Farrell, this spin-off makes the eyes of fans sparkle with impatience, as the desire to find the world of magic is great. The cast also includes Katherine Waterson (noticed in the film Steve Jobs), Alison Sudol, and Dan Fogler. Last but not least, JK Rowling signed the script. Just that.

A Q&A, broadcast from London

A giant FAQ was organized and broadcast from London all over the world, including Paris, and it was in the premises of Warner Bros that we were received to attend. And it can be said that they do not do things by halves….

  • Alison Studol loved David Yates' direction and kindness on such an important shoot.

What did you learn from your character?

  • Dan Fogler had a very poetic phrase "You don't need to have magical power, to be magical inside".We couldn't find a better answer to this question!

For Colin Farrell, did he enjoy playing an enigmatic character?

  • Colin Farrell explained that he thought his character was cool and considerate of the welfare of wizards. Colin Farell plays Percival Graves, an Auror member of the American Ministry of Magic.

What future for Norbert Dragonneau?

The last word was for JK Rowling…

The least we can say is that JK Rowling never comes empty-handed! She arrived like a flower on stage, creating the surprise, to announce us a big news, which will delight the fans. There will be not 3 but 5 films from the saga "Fantastic Beasts". An announcement celebrated by a mobile phone lift to spread the news on all social networks.

Then, for us who were present in the premises, it was not over, since JK Rowling announced "As a surprise, we will show you the 10 first minutes of the movie". At the time, I turned on my neighbor and asked her, "Did I understand correctly? She just said we're going to see the first 10 minutes of the film?" Yes, I am bilingual but I needed a confirmation, it was so huge!

What about those first minutes? They correspond to the arrival of Norbert Dragonneau in New York who lugs around with his suitcase full of fantastic creatures. We can feel the atmosphere of oppression that muggles make sorcerers live. And the magical creatures are to be chewed; We found our new Gremlins !

See you on November 16th, date of the release of the 1st film of the saga "Fantastic Beasts" and thank you to Warner Bros for this welcome. I don't know about you, but with all this, I can't wait!
